Sarah Mallabar

Sarah Mallabar is an independent filmmaker, writing, producing and directing award winning short drama films,  music videos,  environmental films, web commercials and Arts Council funded films.  BAFTA Crew 2018/19  alumni and an original member of the BAFTA's Lucky 225's Sarah is developing a slate of female centric, musically driven period dramas.

Her director's calling card,  Dr Sugarloaf,  is a romantic black comedy short drama film with a Bond style twist made at Pinewood Studios, England. World premiered at Cannes Film Festival, Short Film Corner in 2016.  Distributed by Shorts International.

More recently Sarah has produced, written and directed a Welsh language medieval fantasy drama Rhiannon a short proof of concept film for a TV series in development.
